Google Travel Grants

As part of their Eastern European Travel Grant program, Google have agreed to fund a number of travel grants for CIKM delegates valued at 500 EUR each. Delegates from Eastern Europe are eligible, with preference given in the following order:

• Highest ranked papers
• Authors of full papers (PhD students then Academics)
• Authors of other conference publications (short papers/posters, workshops papers, etc)
• PhD student attendees

Eligible countries include Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Republic of Macedonia, Russian Federation & Ukraine.

To be eligible, you must have a valid registration confirmation number. Recipients must acknowledge Google when presenting their work (where applicable) as follows "We would like to thank Google for funding the travel grant that enabled XYZ to attend the conference and present the paper."

To apply, please complete the grant application form by August 25 2011. Recipients will be notified by September 1, 2011.
